Maison Margiela Reebok 2022|Tabi Décortiqué
Reebok has teamed up with Maison Margiela to release the all-new Classic Leather Tabi Décortiqué Low silhouette to round out the month of January. The Classic Leather Tabi High made its debut in June 2021, and this new model is just a low-cut variant of that design. The legendary French fashion company uses its décortiqué technique to add its own flavor to a classic Reebok model on this new offering.
To achieve a cage-like look, Margiela's creative director John Galliano deconstructs the Classic Leather and effectively creates see-through windows across the uppers in sections such as the forefoot, quarter panels, and heels.
This styling technique draws attention to the silhouette's structural structure and references to the premium brand's lining incognito, or, as it puts it, "the process of exposing and elevating the lowly insides of a garment or item normally covered up."
Maison Margiela and Reebok will release the new trainer on January 28. The "White," "Black," and "Red" leather hues will cost $595 USD each, and the "Bianchetto" design is around $650 USD.
