Noir kei Ninomiya|Björk San Francisco Tour
On Björk Cornucopia tour in San Francisco, Björk wore noir kei Ninomiya Spring Summer 2022.The Icelandic artist Björk gave the audience a glimpse inside the Chase Center on Saturday night. After three shows in Los Angeles, the Cornucopia tour, based on her "Utopia" album, arrived in San Francisco. The short five-date series will conclude with the second event in San Francisco on February 8th, 2022.
Björk floated around a multi-level stage that resembled the mossy top of a picturesque plateau, despite the fact that she is 56 years old and appears to be perpetually young. She was dressed in a noir Kei Ninomiya gown with an ornate mask that covered her face.
The setlist was focused on tracks from "Utopia," so fans who missed her 2017 collaboration with experimental Venezuelan musician Arca might not have known much of the material. "Venus as a Boy," "Pagan Poetry," and "Hidden Place" were among the older songs reimagined for the flute and chorus group. The choir encircled Björk as she viscerally flailed at the ground with an expressive tenor unsurpassed by any other artist of her generation, and this proved to be the show's high point.
