CDG x Futura 2000 Limited T-Shirt 2021
COMME des GARÇONS "CDG" collaborates with Futura 2000 to design graphics and logo.
"CDG" developed by COMME des GARÇONS has announced a collaboration T-shirt with the graffiti art legend "Futura 2000".
It will be on sale at four CDG stores in Japan and the official online store at 11:00 on July 9th.
Futura 2000 started his career as a graffiti artist in the early 1970s. He was mainly active in the New York subway graphic scene and was evaluated for his style different from that of contemporary artists using abstract and colorful lines.
The T-shirt was designed by combining the simple graphic drawn for the collaboration with the CDG logo and joined by abstract black prints across each shirt's front. Futura's script signature lends additional intrigue by way of unexpected red pop.
The price is 12,100 yen including tax.
