"TRINITY FOR CHITOSE ABE OF SACAI"
This summer, Cartier and Sacai Chitose Abe 阿部千登勢 will unveil a limited collection for the first time in Japan.
On March 7th, at the Paris City Hall, the limited collection "TRINITY FOR CHITOSE ABE OF SACAI" was presented, which was inspired by a collaboration between "Cartier" and "sacai" designer and founder Chitose Abe.
It was unveiled at sacai's Fall/Winter 2022-23 collection runway presentation. It will be available in Japan this summer, then Paris, London, New York, and Seoul arriving in the fall-winter.
Cartier designers seek a new equilibrium in this collection by disassembling and reconstructing old designs based on the "Trinity" ring's basic beauty and mobility. It consists of six pieces: two rings, a bracelet, a necklace, and two pairs of earrings that may be worn and layered in a variety of ways. The three colors of white gold, yellow gold, and pink gold are still present, but new interpretations have been dropped, such as the ring's shape and twist, as well as utility for varied purposes.
Earrings/rings will be offered in two styles and available in Japan-only.
