Ground Y × EVANGELION：3.0＋1.0 Collection 2021

Yohji Yamamoto's sub-label Ground Y has collaborated with the most prolific Japanese anime Evangelion新世紀エヴァンゲリオン.

The world view of the world-famous anime “Evangelion”, which attracts many fans with its timely character modeling, mysterious story, and cutting-edge style, by Hideaki Anno, the general director, and the Paris Collection since 1981. 

 

Actors “Sae Okazaki” and “Rihito Itagaki” who are appearing in many topical works have been appointed as key visual models. New Theatrical Version Evangelion 3.0+1.0 hits Japanese box office records of ¥800,000,000 JPY (approx. $7.2m USD) in just one day, and ahead of its anticipated worldwide debut in over 240 countries, comes a teaser that shows the aforementioned collaboration.

 

In addition to the jumbo cut-and-sew (4 types) that appointed the 13th and 2nd units from the scene of “Shin Evangelion Theatrical Version”, a special order for a limited time-limited collection piece (7 types) that was developed only in a small number in the past.
