COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS by Rei Kawakubo 川久保玲 has announced the 2022-2023 Fall / Winter collection at its headquarters in Tokyo.
Rei Kawakubo's Desire for Nomadism
The theme of this season, Nomad (= nomads, wanderers), was spelled out in the collection notes given following the show. In modern culture, what does Rei Kawakubo consider actual freedom? The unnoticed corona accident makes me ponder its significance.
COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS's signature fiuffy jacket is eye-catching
In the dark exhibition environment, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS's representative jacket stands out. Models who stroll through panels of waste debris erected on the inorganic floor by relying on the light. Passing in front of the crowd, dropping water droplets as though they were soaked in water droplets, with a mournful countenance.
The use of diverse textural materials such as fluff, which is one of COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS's trademark textile processes, and surprising color matching are highlights of the 2022-23 Fall / Winter collection. The crimped wool jacket is eye-catching in bright colors like blue and red, and a set-up was suggested with bottoms with a relaxed design. Furthermore, the Glen Check shrink arrangement gives the traditional cloth and design a distinctive look.
One little front button on the collar and six on the waist characterize this season's jacket design. The cutting around the collar and neck, such as the U-neck shirt, exposes the chest to a large extent.
The kitsch-colored felt and knit portions that arrived in the second half can be viewed from the hem or thrust forward from the neck. There's also a hem with a hanging lining, a jacket with a wide cut-out on the back, and a bowler hat with a hole. COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS's unique approach, which respects classic tailoring while destroying it.
The new Nike collaboration is "Air Max 97"
The new "NIKE" cooperation shoes are based on the "AIR MAX 97," which is becoming increasingly popular each season. The two colors are black and sax blue, and the two-layer structure of leather is processed and used for distressing.
Collaboration sneakers featuring "GEORGE COX," designed by John Moore, are currently available, as they were last season. A thick VI sole is used to finish double strap sandals and Oxford shoes.

Nowadays if you want to know anything, you can get as much information as you want from the internet and it's an experience. But still, I can't be satisfied.
I yearn after a nomadic life where you can truly live freely by yourself, not flocking together, not belonging anywhere.
It is enviable.

George Cox and CdG Homme Plus work together on 2 iconic shoes of the British subculture:
Double-strap sandal and Oxford shoes, originally designed by legendary British shoe designer John Moore, were both updated to the thickest VI creeper sole.
Nike Air Max 97:
Original double-layered distress leather was created and processed, to build the HOMME PLUS special without breaking the iconic AIR MAX 97 structure.
