Rei Kawakubo created the collection together with the French brand Bleu de Paname. The line consists of six denim items, including dresses, shirts, and shorts, designed for women. The creation of the designer's collection was inspired by the uniform of the engineers of the last century, on which the concept of Bleu de Paname is based. In the spring-summer, 2012 season, the creation of the Comme des Garcons men's line Rey x Bleu de Paname is planned.
