Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME has announced the 2022-23 Fall / Winter collection. Yutaka Matsushige 松重豊, Tsuyoshi Ihara 伊原剛志, Toru Nakamura 仲村トオル, Masaya Kato加藤雅也, Yasunori Mihara 三原康可 and others appeared on the runway.
This season has been inspired by "18th-century shirts." The three-piece style setup of vests and pants for jackets and coats stands out with tailored items that fit the body while giving a sense of space. Fabrics ranging from exquisite lustrous wool and stripes to cut jacquard that causes fraying on the fabric's surface and textiles with partial leopard designs are used to create the look.
Furthermore, the additional messenger adds to the classic atmosphere and elegance. Including a style with a long coat wrapped in a scarf, sunglasses with monocles, lace-up leather boots, and a minimalist single-leather messenger bag, all of which are reminiscent of antique landscapes. The velvet-matching black chain-shaped mask is by Rie Harui 春井里絵, creative director of RIEFE JEWELLERY, and is from "Yohji Yamamoto by RIEFE."
