Designer Rei Kawakubo launched "COMME des GARCONS GIRL" in 2015, giving the avant-garde world vision and intellectual aesthetics of "COMME des GARÇONS" a feminine twist. As though you were peeking into a girl's closet, a romantic and innocent collection centered around school girl trends like sailor-colored dresses, pleated skirts, and Peter-pan-colored shirts.

Hikaru Yokota wore a tulle skirt in pink, which is also the brand color, and a long jacket with a wonderful silhouette that integrates the style of a tailcoat that can be recognized as COMME des GARÇONS at a glance from the 2021 AW collection. For a collection that combines novelty and sophistication. A Minnie Mouse T-shirt, which was created in collaboration with Disney for the first time in two years, has also surfaced and is gaining popularity.

The long-awaited brand's first independent store, "COMME des GARÇONS GIRL," is located on the 1st floor of Shibuya PARCO, facing Shibuya Koen-Dori. A big spherical gently envelops the visitor when they look up at the ceiling in the pure white store, giving the impression of wandering in the white clouds. Designer Rei Kawakubo was particularly concerned about the sphere on the ceiling, and she inspected the design and materials at a local factory. ⁡ ⁡
