sacai｜Acronym 2022 S/S Collection
From February 4, 2022 (Friday), sacai will release "sacai / acronym" products in collaboration with ACRONYM at sacai directly managed stores.
Outerwear, dresses, and shorts from the collaboration mix the technical features that Acronium is known for with sacai's fabrics and shapes. The main fabric is a three-layer acronym waterproof fabric. For males, we provide a selection of water-resistant long coats, hoodies, bomber jackets, and loose-fitting shorts. The collar, pocket flaps, and cuffs of the long coat are all made of different fabrics.
"Bonding" is the theme of sacai and Acronym's collaboration, which was announced at the 2022 Spring/Summer Men's and 2022 Resort Women's Collections. It has both a literal connotation of "unity" and a "hybrid" that joins the two materials together, inspired by the bonding process that brings practicality and technological functionality.
Multiple pockets, waterproof zippers, and drawcords are eye-catching functional elements. The dress includes rugged accents like many pockets, buckles, and waterproof zips, and it's designed to show pleats when the side zips are opened, just like men's clothing. Long coat dresses with a flowing silhouette, such as the Chesterfield coat and blouson with sleeves.
